Happy Birthday To The Raven!

Time just flies by when you leave a profession of 28 years and create a storefront business in a town 3 hours from 'home'. What was just a side business selling crafted products online is now over a thousand square feet in a 100+ year old building between Abilene and Brownwood, Texas. This is 'change' on steroids!!

We have really settled down in this small town and connected to some wonderful people. We have some regular customers and we enjoy meeting new people who drive in from Fort Worth, Austin and Abilene. For two people who have deeply embedded introvert tendencies and who own a "Social Crafthouse", we do have a blast meeting people and hearing their stories.

Our first year saw a growth in the number of guests we see, growth in the number and type of special events we offer, our website grow to a more dynamic sharing tool, and this month we got our RAVEN! We celebrated loudly when our 8' tall metal raven was installed on the front of the building! You've got to come see him!

What are we looking forward to during our second year?

• We are going to continue finding other business partnerships for special events here.

• Introducing some new luxury-level leather products in the online store

• Providing a technology training series for Coleman residents

• Taking the Ravenworks products on the road for some craft festival time

As a very small business, I've been surprised about how important the social media clicks are to our store marketing efforts. I don't want to be a tikkittytok influencer, but the more shares, likes, comments and subscribes we get, the better our reach is to new people who haven't seen us yet. We'd LOVE your help with this.
