LEARNING EVENTS AND CLASSES
At Ravenworks on Pecan Street, "Lifelong Learning" is a core belief. Our craft projects provide the opportunity to try new things for all ages in an independent setting with staff assistance not far away. Sometimes, however, people like to learn with a live instructor leading the charge. In the summer of 2025, we are formalizing our offering of instructor-led learning sessions. Check our listings below and register for one of our sessions and enjoy the learning at Ravenworks on Pecan Street ... with beer and wine service as always.
Craft Classes
Group crafting is a blast! Register for one of our craft classes and try something new. These classes are generally providing a craft that we don't offer in our craft projects list. Registering for the class saves your seat and lets us prepare for the number of people planning to attend.
Look for 'Basketweaving With Sally' later this summer!

'Understanding Technology' Classes
You are never too old to improve your understanding of the technology around you. Our 'Understanding Technology' classes will cover some very basic concepts and will stretch into topics that are fairly advanced. Keep an eye on our social media for upcoming topics!
What Is AI?
(And Is It Good On Steak?)

July 11th 6p-7p
@ Ravenworks on Pecan Street
No registration for this event. $10 cover for class.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) gets a bad rap these days. We will be spending an hour sharing the basic concepts about how AI works, how you are already probably using it, how it's being misused and how you can use it with positive results that can help you be more efficient in many daily tasks.
We encourage guests to bring their smart phones or laptops to this session in order to get some hands-on experience with AI before you leave, but that isn't required and you can find success without any technology.

Class Requests?
We love class ideas from our community. Coming later in the summer is a Texas Wall Art class that was requested by a guest. Do you have an idea for a class? Contact us through this website or social media (@texasravenworks) to make your suggestions. We really would love to hear them!
